WHERE WE WORK
Register Her is a non-partisan 501c3 non-profit that promotes women-centered and women-led voter registration efforts across the country. A key element of our program is hiring Regional Captains and Student Interns to liaise with our community partners and drive registration efforts in their own communities.
WHY THESE CITIES?
We are striving to activate hard-to-reach groups of women. Historically these groups have been overlooked or excluded and continue to be disproportionately negatively impacted by voter suppression measures. Our priority demographic for 2023-2024 are women of color, Indigenous/Native women, LGBTQ+ community and young women (18-24). We have identified our target cities based on the concentrated of these population along with the following factors: low voter turnout, low number of registered voters, high number of close elections and existing momentum on the ground.
Our five target cities in 2024 are Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; Charlotte, NC; Philadelphia, PA and Dallas, TX plus select college campuses in all six states and tribal lands in Arizona.
